How to search the Internet using a Search Engine
Search Engines allow you to type in keywords to find things. They can be good at finding travel information on various destinations as well as finding information on specific hotel accommodation, airline flights, car hire, passport and visa information.

When searching for a topic of more than one word ie, a phrase, use quotation marks “ “

Tip No2: Search in a specific field on a webpage & identify your keywords.
Some search engines allow you to search in a specific field of a web page. In Google you can search

intitle:”Port Douglas” accommodation “self contained”
intitle:”port elliot” “south australia” accommodation “3 bedrooms”

How to search the Internet using a Subject Directory
Subject Directories classify the Internet into various categories. Most will have a general Category for Travel. This general category is then broken down into sub-categories. For example:
